These are 27 / 48 Extension springs. 27â³ long with 48 inches of stretch. 27â³ long is industry standard for 8â² tall garage doors â these are the only length extension springs currently being manufactured. If the existing springs are not 28â³ long â if you have the correct weight (pull) and door height springs, the balance will be correct.
These are extension springs that are mounted above the horizontal garage door tracks running from front to back of the garage door. Ends are color coated, Garage Door Springs – Sold in Pair.
